Oh yes, and the mental anguish caused by being offered for sale.
[This might be going off-topic. Must be careful. Try to mention keeper somehow.]

My DBS is certainly a keeper because:
It's the exact color I wanted
It is totally bespoke from the factory and NP
It sounds incredible
It has great road presence
and most signficantly...
I'm old and will probably die soon
Cousin Steve, buddy, my long lost relative, mate,,,,you must pm me and I'll give you all the details you need to bequeath the love of your life to the safest and most caring, appreciative pair of hands you could ever imagine. Take care and don't worry, she will be fine, I promise,,,,,,It's the exact color I wanted

Now isn't she just beautiful but scary,,,,reminds me too much of my daughter, that can get you into a lot of trouble,,,no?
Wouldn't be too much trouble for me. My better-half is 22 years younger than me. We started dating when she was only 18. She says I'm going to trade her in for a younger model before she reaches 30. KarlFranz said:

That's funny, my OH (won't say 'better') is 21 years my junior. But I think she's gonna' trade me in rather than vice versa.Y100 said:

Here's my "keeper". Unfortunately, Orlando Bloom refuses to let her go.

Its not the likeness Cockers, more the age and well, beauty I suppose,,,heres my effort,,,just the one daughter but I reckon I threw a double 6,,,,eh,,,but then I would say that wouldn't I.
I knew it was only a matter of time before I bumped into a picture of an old flame on the tinterweb Has she asked for a drive in your Aston Martin yet, Bob?
My children are older than your daughter, and they know the answer, so have not even asked.
My new son in law has been told about the sad PH wedding day story, so he knows there is absolutely no chance now.
Apparently it's only a car, but I don't believe that.
Lovely. The photos of women are ummm interesting and I am glad you have found your woman "keeper", whether it be the 1st time or, for some of you, maybe more.
Anyway back to cars and more specifically Astons.
I suppose my definition of keeper when it comes to cars is one that has little problems when it comes to MOT and service and when you put the key in it and go it goes. The Aston may not always be that (especially at service time) with things wrong with it and it may need more work but I have to say owning and driving it is a lot of fun (even test driving it was).
Above all however it is a mixture of metal and cloth (like most cars) and whilst it is a nice place to be (sometimes very nice) it still is that. The amount you drive it (or in this case wash it, it seems!) and the smile it gives you are probably priceless and when you turn that engine on..... Does it come without my definition of a keeper probably, despite the work, just about yes, but saying that still depends on price and if the price is good enough usually no matter what the car it would be swapped which suggests that price is also extremely important. What is more important than price, well health, the pleasure of young ones (apparently), how a pet just lives simple things like balls, a crisp sunny day etc.
The thing with Aston is it is usually heart over head decision and lets be honest there is no rhyme or reason when it comes to that. Rather similar to a woman....there's a thought....
Neil
P.S. Please substitute "woman" for "man" for those of the other persuasion - just in case the homophobia police are here!
