The guy was ill for a while. He had a lot of jobs to do before my car. Pulse I am living in Ireland and the Car is in Scotland. It has been started. all the windows are out of it today. He is taking pictures of the strip down. I will pose them up when I get them. I really wanted it to be ready to come to the show on the 27th. But I am just going fly over. There is always next year.

That's a shame, but please do keep us updated Agent57 said:
Love the slightly darkened rear lights. How did you achieve that?
I simply sprayed them myself.Tinted to the human eye when unlit however the units illuminate perfectly. Did that little mod about 4 yrs ago now I think.
On a dark coloured car the OEM lights just looked too bright and 70's looking.
I have a second set of lights I was going to convert to LED, but not got around to it yet. (it will happen one day)
Can I encourage any of you lot on this thread that haven't registered for Burghley to get into gear, sort yourselves out and get your names down to attend please.
Its the final countdown now and a few more cars could just manage to tip me over the edge completely , so do your bit for the local Sanatorium and join my list.
Thanks…….

Great pics!
- the DB7 looks best in plain factory spec. I am not a big fan of the mesh grille; you dont see this in later models like DB9 etc, probably for a good reason
- The facelift without bumper strips on the doors looks much better
- I very much like the slighty tinted rear lights as seen above, agree with the 70ies comment
- will the 90ies be remembered as the time when all cars were black or silver? The burgundy DB7 looks fantastic (especialy b/c hood is in the same colour as the paintwork), and the gold/champagne one is lovely
- re: exhaust sound...how does the i6 sound like? As dramatic as the later models? Or more generic?
