Just had these installed and I am very pleased how it turned out. Sourced them from Nicholas at The Vantage Collection of which I have no financial ties to whatsoever. I think the rear really looks good.

I presumed that was just the side markers rather than both?

Daft question I know but I thought I'd throw it out to you all.

You fit the white reflectors to your UK model. One night whilst parked on an unlit road some twonk runs into the back of you injuring himself. Plod turns up and notices your illegal reflectors.

Would plod do you and would your insurance be invalid??

Answers on a postcard please.

BTW - I think they set the rest of the car off really well.

If they look white but reflect red, that would do for me. Surely they wouldn't reflect white, even with different laws in USA?

The rear reflectors do look good with the clear rear lights, I'm happy with my red ones but if I had a newer car then would be interested in changing.
OP, coud you go out when its dark with a torch and film the reflection please to satisfy the collective curiosity? biggrin

LBS -

Very true, it'd be sods law. And yes, the way insurance companies are now, no doubt it'd be a perfect opportunity to invalidate one's policy

They are illegal in the states also and Nicholas tells you that when you order. At night they do reflect white altho very brightly. I think they look so good I am willing to take my chances. My chances of being pulled over for not having any red out back I think are very slim especially with the taillights being red when on. If I do I will tell him I have the red ones at home and will reinstall them the next day wink

He does not have any pics on the website yet as they are a fairly recent offering. I sent him these pics so he could use them if he likes on the website. I believer they were around $40-60 USD. I paid for them but don't have the invoice yet.

I enquired about these soon as I saw them and just got an email reply form Nicholas. They are made to order at $199.00 per pair and he does point out that they are illegal too. Swithering now!!!

As much I love the idea of changing/improving the external appeal of my car, this for me is a non runner,,,bright white rear reflectors yikes ,,,of course they're illegal, they should be too,,sorry to give it a thumbs down, just being honest. bow
