[quote=ilovethiscity] and front parking sensors (if you live in London you'll know why!) now onto the pictures hope you all like the car!

Unfortunately, the dicks that nudge your car cannot hear your sensors bleeping, and thats where most of the knocks come from.

It’s a lovely DB9. You’re 25, and were going to buy a Vantage. What changed your mind?

By the way, has this knackered the P&S joke? It’ll confuse the shell suit devotees …

great pictures....nice to see the youth of today can still afford to purchase a proper Aston Martin (DB9) and understand the value of doing so !

Fantastic colour combination. Love the interior.

Sport pack wheels would go well with it too yes

Sportshift vs Touchtronic for a city car in the end.

As Yeti mentioned it was partly to do with the DB9 gearbox being so much better for my usage. I will be using it for a lot of London driving through the week followed by what you all call 'spirited' drives on the weekend!! The Vantage has an automated manual which I found clunky.

After testing both I just fell in love with the DB9 the more I think about it the more I realise it was the best decision I could have ever made.. Also the size of the DB9 I felt was more suited to me as I am 6ft 2 the vantage felt so small (not in leg room but just the actual car!)

I would love to but no more major additions until next year for me!

I am absolutely loving the car.. picked my best bud up this afternoon and we headed to Epping forest for a good little tour round some nicer winding roads and we had a great time. The colour scheme grows on me more and more by the minute I don't think I could be much happier!

A pleasure to help you Oscar; you have made an excellent choice of a beautiful car!

Hope to meet you soon on a run-out; a few of us in London now, might be worth a breakfast at the Ace Cafe and then nipping off somewhere a bit more open...
This sounds like a GREAT idea.. desperate to learn some new roads and places to go. I can't believe I haven't been to the Ace!

Not a personal fan of navy blue but I absolutely love the lights with the blue colour combo. Well done Oscar, the car looks stunning. I am in Westminster mate so would be good to meet up.

Oh and I also just placed a deposit on a DB9 AUTO. I drove a manual R8 for 10 mins from Brentford into London on A4 and couldn't bare manual changing given what London traffic is like! Enjoy the new toy!

Shiny! Are there any good detailers you know of in central London that dont charge an arm and a leg?
