Does anyone know this DB9 Volante?
Discussion
Browsing the classifieds and saw this- it looks very keenly priced. All other DB9 volante's at £40k ish?
Wonder if its HPI clear...?
It looks to be a good price and I reckon in a couple of years time if I looked after it well it shouldn't lose too much value?

Sooo tempted!!! Mrs has given me the go ahead too!!!
Anything else you can think I need to ask the seller?
Also anything I should know about this vintage db9 as I'm not very clued up about them.
Thanks!
You might phone Chiltern to check out history or get them to look it over or get a dealer to give it a check over and one year warranty which would cost £2K.Anything else you can think I need to ask the seller?

It's the 07 model with the newer seats, which makes it seem even cheaper...Anything else you can think I need to ask the seller?

I'd say be sure to do an HPI and check first thing. It'd would probably still look ok value if it was cat D!
Maybe it's fine, but the guy just wants to shift it quick. Wouldn't hang around if you want it and it is straight.
That looks to be around the right price for a privately listed car because any faults you cannot see in the pics, such as rattles and knocks will not be down to the seller once he has your money. A dealer or trader will have to offer some warranty.
I would take someone who knows the cars to look it over before you part with your cash. There are so many things that could seem trivial to you, like a rattling wiper linkage, that could lead to some monster bills. Also check for advisories on that Chiltern service.
I looked at a few before deciding the peace of mind and security of buying from a specialist dealer was worth the few grand extra to buy it.
I looked at one at McGurks with similar mileage and the engine needed rebuilding! You wouldn't want to pay for that yourself.
No reason for concern to leave it ungaraged, but get a good cover for it unless you will be using it regularly.
Good luck.

Defo go for the warranty. I bought a DB9, seemed fine, and realised it needed spark plugs changing and a new wishbone on one side, which costs circa £1.7k. This ones seems a bit too cheap.... May be worth going for a specialist dealer car instead, and know you do not have to do ANYTHING to the car for several years peace of mind driving. Good luck whatever you do
According to the ad - he says - with new coils and brakes and New winters tyres worth £2600 included in sale.
Apparently its just had £3k spent on it at its last aston service 2 weeks ago...
A dealer car of this spec is probably £42k - I am not sure there will be £10k of work to do?
With a check and a warranty it comes in at circa £34k even and still 8K under dealer price. Not sure how I can go wrong...
