Racing his motorbike next weekend.

Nope, he's just dropped his new iPhone down the bog. Just had an email form him.....now that's funny.
So, he'll be relatively quiet until its replacement arrives or he dupes some unsuspecting girl into sharing her phone.

Sometimes John, I don't know what they are talking about, but it does not bother me.

Certainly straight talking can sometimes make things easier to understand.
George is one of the straight talkers on here.

I remember George was in a flap once, when a window on his DB9 was stuck open, and it began to rain. Instead of simply putting a plastic sheet over his car (does he really design aircraft engines confused), he began asking this forum what to do. The conversation became ever more bizarre, involving an absent horse and a stable full of spare motorcycle fairings. Very funny.

The 'Dawg' comment seems to be an abbreviation of your PH nickname, but what does Ikebaddog mean?
Agreed Jon, things have got a little bit out of hand, but no harm done i hope? Ikebaddog has no meaning, I have an American Bulldog called ike.......i'm used to shouting.....Ike, bad dog!.....

It is like a bit like having bunch of squabbling school kids on here these days. biglaugh
I tend to only read the stuff specifically about the mark rather than the insults and innuendo which, one has to say, is rather tedious to those of us that don't know Yeti, Jockman or George from Adam. wink I realise that Pistonhead's Aston forum is 99% populated by owners of Gaydon Astons so the tendency is to discuss power upgrades, carbon bits and polishing techniques rather than the merits and demerits of cross-ply tyres or where the grease nipple is on the sliding trunnion bearing hehe However I agree with Ed, it does become rather depressing seeing nothing but snide remarks or in-jokes. As someone who has been on Pistonheads since it's inception I have come to realise that the old adage "less is more" applies perfectly to one's postings on internet chat forums i.e. before you press send on your post think, is it really necessary, funny or contributing to the debate? Else, simply press the "back" button and forget it! biggrin

Still undergoing training perhaps?
Hope Ike does not get too near your lovely Aston Martin leather.

My dog can only go into the garage, if the collar has been removed.

Please don't stop Professor Jockman's English language classes.

His clarity of explanation, is better than school.

I'm not trying to stop anything and I would welcome Jockman's view on the current trend, that in some's opinion has devalued this forum.

Quick wit and banter is the very soul of this forum to which the Jockman is without doubt the undisputed master, the banter coupled with the
friendliness, help and advice is what I seek nothing more and when that resurfaces in abundance I'm sure many of the Lost Boys will find the
confidence to return.

I see many a protagonist has gone silent on this conversation although their views are usually free falling, surprising in away but pleasant in another
especially if the calm of silence is one of consideration to others.

I've no Axe to grind but it seems I might have said what a lot of people have been thinking,so I hope my attempt at unity does not fall short of
its intended mark.

A mark that is only meant as constructive and is relayed without prejudice or malice...........thumbup

Peace to all Piston Headers
Unit together as one in the fun the glory and the holy tyre smoke....hehe.

Ed, me old china, you need to keep things in perspective. wink

This forum tends to reinvent itself every so often - sometimes in a subtle incremental way, other times in a more painful transformational manner- but it still survives. We lose wise heads but gain newbies with fresh ideas and different ways of looking at things. It's just the nature of the beast.

Conflict is inevitable from time to time. I remember Terminator threatening to pulverise George, Di having to put Sadler straight on Harleys....even Mr Jellison winding everyone up, especially Quinny (wonder where he got to ??). Remember wee Mojo and his paint issue ??

If you've had a couple of bad threads in quick succession, just see them for what they are, matey - a cluster - no more, no less smile

In the sink actually curse Hadn't insured it either!

And fking Apple decided to change the micro sim card that I had in my 4S into a nano simcard for my 5S.... So I have my old iPhone 4S with no simcard at the moment... having to use wifi everywhere. It's certainly very irritating...

That they're for people who have just had a mid life crisis and realise they cant ride a bike with a proper engine, so get a tractor engined one instead? confused

I'm not getting things out of perspective and I'm surprised you see it that way,I'll learn from that and if thats the consensus of opinion I'll run my 3 events to a conclusion
and no more.I will reply only to threads that I have begun.

Its no fun to be involved in argument after argument or to be put down by a cutting swipe by a faceless assassin,I tried to keep this forum bouncing during your self imposed
excile,maybe I shouldn't have bothered.

Oh well I tried,if its a war zone people want I'll except that and move swiftly on...........enjoy.tank
