Molly has told me not to get involved but as she is just about to go to her Yoga Class. I think I will.
Dear Steve, I feel that you have misjudged us on this forum. I think that the problem lies in the fact that you are over there and we are over here. In the past couple of years Molly and I have made some amazing loyal friends. We love our cars , we enjoy the most amazing camaraderie , we go on fantastic trips, we laugh, we pursue all sorts of excesses. Most of all we wind one another up with no intent whatsoever to cause hurt. Sometimes we can even be a bit too serious, the solution to that is to go off thread. I have a solution, when one of us next has a "bit of a do" planned come on over and join us, you would be most welcome. Regarding the driving, the majority of the Astons are driven by people in the twilight of their lives so the pace can be a bit pedestrian. The evenings are usually spent quietly sipping a fine glass of Port. I reckon that you would love it!!!!
Could not agree more Rob. In my limited experience on here, I'll stick my neck out and say that 99% of the time, whenever a 'serious' topic/question is raised that relates directly to a car issue, be it warranty, servicing, upgrades, whatever, they get answered first and only then does it go off topic.Dear Steve, I feel that you have misjudged us on this forum. From personal experience, I cannot imagine a more enthusiastic and welcoming bunch when a potential new member posts. This forum helped me enormously when I was in the hovering phase, such a vast array of experience literally at my finger tips, I was and still am very grateful to all that offered advice. Now, having landed and got ourselves a fantastic Volcano red DB9.2, we are looking forward to putting faces to the well known names on here, names that belong to folk we want to get to know.
End of sermon.

Well as someone who doesn't post a lot I enjoy the off topic stuff. The techie info is always there (somewhere) a and you can get sensible answers to issues. I've been on two get together sand they were great....lovely people who were very welcoming to a newcomer.
Leave it as it is please!!

Martyn, may I come on a 'sandy get together' possibly Brighton ? Leave it as it is please!!
Right, enoughs enough. I am seriously concerned at the amount of time you southerners are spending on here and not working producing wealth for the economy which is transferred to me in the north through our wonderful tax system. If you don't get back to the grindstone, I may have to work myself which is simply not on.
Where the hell is my next Aston going to come from if you keep this up!

Bob, I am nearly 3 years into Aston Martin ownership. I opened the garage doors today , stood there and looked and then said "Hello Baby!" . We are all so very fortunate!
I didn't know that you kept Molly and the dog in the garage!J12MOC said:
