I used to like The Loveboat , they all seemed such nice people. Molly and I went on our one and only cruise some years ago. Never again, so many Fat people whose only aim was to gorge all day every day. Truly revolting.
Karen refuses point blank to go on a cruise She is fearful that one of the cylinders may become deactivated

Exactly! Who the F..k is Bobby?
JR's brother ?????PS: If ever I get called Robert, it means trouble is heading my way.
Back on topic; My best mates car (Freelander II) cuts out by itself whenever we stop at a junction or traffic lights, I find it distracting. Whatever the benefits might be, I'd rather it stopped doing it.

On the BMWs there is a switch to disable it - on the modern Beamers the switch is actually attached to the Start Button Retman said:

Isn't that Cocker's new boat
What, you mean Andrew stole it? Anyway, back on topic, how will cylinder de-activation help when my foot is permanently buried into the carpet. Perhaps I could return greater MPG by just driving like a tart with girly tyres. No offence meant or implied Tony obviously

The Germans all seem to have their own CO2 routes, but I've no idea what the AMG one is - BMW would appear to have followed the Stop / Start route which (inter alia) gave them CO2 levels that Merc and Audi just could not live with.
You are right though, Bobby, at some stage AM are going to have to do something about CO2
Audi have a stop/start system but it had proved a little unreliableYou are right though, Bobby, at some stage AM are going to have to do something about CO2
Ironically the yanks (Chrysler) had cylinder deactivation since 2004
Interestingly Merc have had it since 2001!

Tony, I know that Cockers, he doesn't mean it . Imagine how he must feel going to the garage and his little Black Beauty is no longer there!!
Crikey....I've been in Cockers garage and I never knew he was keeping a horse there Though there is a terrible smell of manure whenever he speaks
