Need advice please.
Just been quoted £1530 ( list £1836 ) for 7 year service on my 06 DB9 by main dealer where I purchased my car.
Told it is ' big' service so more than the £950 I paid last year.
I live in North London so would consider Chiltern or other recognised garage.
Thanks, Steven

My question is this Jockers ,keep hearing your missus is a good looking woman,so why did she marry you ,no good without pics so let's have one so I can make a judgement.
Other question is to find out what whether the cost is about right as it is more than I expected so I am seeking the advice from my colleagues on this forum. You got a problem with that. smile

Just get some quotes from dealers within striking distance of you and make your decision based on that?

If I was unable to do it myself, that's what I would do.

it is the big one as it includes plugs.....you don't have to have the plugs done if the millage is less than 60k .....that will knock about £700 off

Thank you Michael.
Mileage is only 16K .
What are the possible consequences of not having the plugs chained ?

Works have got deals on for servicing right now. They were the cheapest for the 6 year service that my 9's in for right now. I had a very wide range of quotes from dealers.

Plugs are scheduled to be changed at 70k miles, this will come up in the 7 year schedule if the car covers 10k miles PA. Lower mileages will mean the plug change can be delayed. I managed to get the Maintenance Sheets attached from my dealer.

None.....the plugs are recommended to be changed at 60k miles.......it used to be 7 years or 60k miles but that recommendation has changed to 60k miles with no age limit

The Dealers in the UK work to a slightly different schedule in that many will not change the Air Filter at every service point. Instead, they will change it with the pollen filter smile

Interesting! Look at the end - the dealer is require to fill it with Fuel. That is worth £100!
