Bad news Ed. As forum-reading AMOC members will know I've had a bit of mild trauma with the DB5 recently (and an unnamed heritage garage). And despite trying over the weekend I've not been able to fix the lean mis-fire the car has developed (essentially the carbs are going to have to come off which is beyong my limited mechanical ability).

I've contacted a couple of transport companies to see whether there's any chance of someone trailering it up there for the weekend. But I'm not holding out too much hope as its short notice.

So I might have to bring the DB9 instead - on the bright side at least that's not silverbiggrin

I hope you have another DB5 or two to represent the model cry

We will be there Friday night Ed. Too nice a venue to squander the opportunity.

Downr: we feel for you......

Rob,

Bad luck there, I hope its a straight forward and not a too costly a fix.

Don't worry about shipping it up for the event the main thing is for you,Anna and the DB9 to come along…….smile

Hi Ed,sorry to bother you.
I have completed making up the name badges for forum members going to Burghley, they look very nice.
However I need help with the spelling of Tony Halls badge.
Is there one S or two S's in " TOSSER " ?

Hi

Do we know who is parking where on the day as yet?

I am not so sure about name badges, although it would enable visability of fellow PHers, the recent comments about certain companies may lead to one almighty punch up hehe

Steven,

Lewis won't be with us on the day unfortunately as it falls on his Wedding Anniversary.

Hopefully we can all forget about these unfortunate disagreements and just have an enjoyable day.

Hi Ed, Apologies in advance if this has been asked and answered previously but whats the process for paying for the auction items?
Do I have to alert my bank for a possible massive cash withdrawal prior to the event or will you take a cheque ? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/9.gif
