Fair Play to AM they told me about this car during my factory visit last week but I was under strict NDA to not say anything until the press embargo was lifted. Now it has broken cover I can see if it changes my view to order a V8V S but I doubt it. I have not read the PR yet but this thread seems to indicate that details and facts (like the price and standard kit for example!) are scant in true AM style!
What's hilarious about that is who would have given 2 hoots if the info was released !?! :-)My link in one of the earlier posts to the autocar article quotes a price - just under 90k.
So which N430 colour scheme do we like the best:
Heritage
Mariana Blue exterior paint with red club sport graphics pack. Dark blue and vibrant red create a rich colour combination accentuating the compact form of V8 Vantage.
Race
Alloro green exterior paint with yellow club sport graphics pack. An instantly recognisable theme inspired by Aston Martin’s legendary Le Mans winning racer – DBR1.
Stealth
Jet Black exterior paint with silver club sport graphics pack. Brooding black is highlighted by silver in a subtle specification fitting for the sporting and lithe lines of N430.
Trophy
Skyfall Silver exterior paint with white club sport graphics pack. Lithe and pure, ‘Trophy’ displays the elegance and proportion of N430, a combination of perfect poise.
Speedway
Speedway white exterior paint with red club sport graphics pack. Crisp, paint is offset by rich red to create a specification that harks after images of iconic US motorsports.
I'm quite liking both Race and Speedway....
And which interior do we like:
Dark Interior Theme
Obsidian Black leather with accent colour choice of Yellow, Black, Silver or Red (yellow shown). Plisse alcantara seat and door inserts, image shows Lightweight seat. Indented leather seat and door insert and sports seat are also available.
Light Interior Theme
Argento Grey leather with accent colour choice of Yellow, Black, Silver or Red (black shown). Plisse alcantara seat and door inserts, image shows Sports seat. Indented leather seat and door insert and sports seat are also available.

Amazing they can turn the most beautiful car in the world into that mess Surely that bad boy surely has George's name written all over it!

Looks as if it should be badly parked outside Harrods.
That purple one is particularly hideous. Clearly AM need to generate sales, but by essentially messing up a classic and brilliant design by adding a bit of paint here and there, I don't think they are going the right way about it.
A much better(low cost)option for AM would be to offer just one new V8 special which follows the new V12S themes. That would give them the 'new' model to parade at the shows, without generating the 'look at the state of that' comments.
I'd much prefer it if AM took the Ferrari route of limiting production and maintaining exclusivity, and therefore residual values. But Ferrari are a profit making entity, AM are some way away from that.
But enough of all this complaining. Bottom line is that AM do produce some absolutely fantastic cars, which most certainly do not require lipstick.

Quite. I hope my post didn't come across as mocking you - it was about the factory ! Dealers have been receiving info on this since Monday. They think lightweight seats are standard, but it's far from 100% clear. Dealers have been told build in July (not September) but that probably means the September refers to customer deliveries
None taken I knew what you meant :-)I suspect this is going to be a mess (for someone in my position about to pull the trigger) as the whole process of trying to order an AM has been quite and surprisingly difficult (just through lack of information and dealer (even factory) product knowledge of which we see typical examples here. Everyoe is really nice but that does not help). Dealing with Maserati has been a joy by comparison and I am not yet blooded with the AM DNA which would perhaps make me more forgiving. Let us see how I get on.

See... from the standard press release I thought "meh". But looking at the photos I'm quite liking Heritage (although a bit too "look at me" for an AM) and Race. But if they're going to be pushing the race pedigree so much I'd want the CC100-esque nose of the V12VS. Not that I have the money for any of these.Heritage

By the way, isn't all this re-hashing of aging models any different to the gazillion special editions of the Zonda just before the Huaraararaaa was launched? I think the Gallardo also had various special versions as it was being phased out too.

Quite frankly, it's pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the car will be great
But how many times can they claim to have lost 10 or 20kg with the same options of lightweight wheels & sports seats ?!? Or the 430 bhp engine already fitted to the Vantage S, but they talk about it as the most powerful Aston V8 ever as if it's a new or newly enhanced engine ?!?
This is A V8S at a slightly lower price point with some fancy off the shelf graphics options and new upholstery options. There would appear to be nothing new regarding engine, suspension, brakes, weight, etc so to call it a track special when it has the identical dynamics is just plain misleading. Like I say, I'm sure it's a good car but surely they could do better than this !

"Why can’t they just tell us exactly what changed?
What exactly is the difference between this N430 and the V8 Vantage S?"
I agree 100% and I suspect this is where I am about to get frustrated! However let me give them a chance. Questions have been asked so let us see what answers come back.
Admire the sensuous bodylines ,dribble over the sexy race informed colour ways, drool over the alcantara sports seats designed to hold your buttocks in a firm buttock hold.
Not withstanding the cringeworthy advertising blurb, I think they all look ok,obviously I am not talking performance etc. but as a design exercise it's ok.
And George ,not everybody has your definitive instinct for good taste,AM are marketing worldwide.

They look quite familiar, in fact identical to the lithe lines of the V8V, V8VS and V12VS.
The grille appears to be the optional 6 bar, Bright Finish Grille.
So, will that be an extra cost for Bright Finish Grille, then a further extra cost for a Brooding Black Coating? ->
They do seem quite carried away with their marketing description, so perhaps they could have gone just a little further,
'THE N430 STEALTH - IT'S BROODING LITHE'

Looking at these styling packs (and 10hp) - the AMG engined cars can't come soon enough. How will this possibly attract new buyers to the brand? They need to re-style and re-engine these rascals quickly. Don't get me wrong, I *love* my Vantage's styling, but it's time to move on.
What sort of new buyers do they wish to attract - teenage baseball-cap-wearing lottery winners? Certainly doing their best to put off the traditional AMOC set
