The actual footage quality is pure HD and superb. This is a little grainy as I wanted to get the file size down so doesn't really represent how good the GoPro Hero 3+ is.

Apart from the photo lap, did anyone else get to explore the bowl? Determined to be quicker than my previous lap time I braked far too late from 125mph and quickly found myself on the scenic route.
Ah it was you biglaugh
I think Simon caught it on film on his You Porn....sorry, Tube clip.

All,

Just received an email from Dom the photographer. Currently uploading all of the photographs (1.5 gigabytes) so should be ready shortly after the weekend.

Goodwood are very, very restrictive on noise and numbers of cars on track at one time. I'm not sure that they even do open pit lane days.
I know, and yes they do.

There are a good few 105dB days there and there are ways and means. My car was allowed out at 112dB, there are ways and means...

Yes there would only be 5 cars on track at a time and some 'noise management' technique would be needed whistle

But Goodwood is a great track, 140+mph easily yes Just less cars can go...

I have a couple of excellent 10 min clips. Struggling to upload ATM. Wifi in the cave is not good so will probably have to wait until in the office tomorrow frown

I would also like to say thanks to Bob for being responsible for a top day out, everyone looked like they really enjoyed it, also, thanks Dave for the hotel and photographer - really looking forward to the pics.

Just a couple of photos to be going along with.

Love to see a Volante in the lineup...did it hit the track? Mine would have for sure!!!

What sort of numbers were people getting when noise tested? Mine had valves closed so not relevant.

Seeing some of the pictures with multiple Astons side-by-side reminds me of just how much presence the DBS and new Vanquish have.

Very good.

So, there we have it. Proof that a V12VS is no quicker than a V8V !

( I know, it's the driver). smile
