Well since Rockingham I have a serious case of the race bug......... And am now totally addicted...

I have completed my ARDS test and passed, just waiting on my medical before I can send off my licence application and fee.

I have also committed to the last 2 rounds of the VW cup in a newly built car by TEAM-HARD, 1st day of testing is in July and again in August to get the car set up then its 2nd from last round at Brands on 31/08/14 and the last round at Donnington on 14/09/14.... No previous race experience straight into a televised race...

LOL.... I will... Its normally aired on Motors TV and shares the line up with the GT racing and I think Formula Ford?? Feet 1st into the deep end... LOL

Martyn, your dead right... Front wheel drive will be a challenge, I feel way more comfy with rear wheel drive, but then again all my hooligan days as a boy racer were in front wheel drive cars...

God knows how I will do.... Just going to enjoy it... As long as I can finish with a smile that's all that counts at the moment...

I saw a car track day for the first time at Cadwell Park last week whilst I was setting up for a bike track day the following day. Sent me to sleep it was that dull don't think I'll be doing one any time soon. Racing should be way better!

It's not a spectator sport you plank

It's just a very low risk way of using your road car to its potential.

Well bike track days are at least interesting to watch! What's with all that indicate to overtake bks?

There was some guy with a Radical (which was very nice indeed) there. He didn't really get to use it to it's potential as it was full of people in st old Saxos and 3 Series pootling round. Put me off car track days anyway!
