Cheers Bob, that was a fun day. I ended up doing just under 50 laps and only 1 tank of fuel

Only one tank of fuel for me too, slightly fewer laps for me...and, erm, a bit slower, but that's the driver and not the car.

How are you finding the new S3? I really want one. My only concerns are the fuel economy isn't better as it said it would be, and I've heard of a few cases of turbos going?

Good morning all,

What a fantastic day, the weather was perfect, no wind, no rain and no blinding sunshine. What a fantastic track, not only the circuit design but also that pit wall, allowing us to get right up to the track side looking down onto the cars just enough to fully appreciate their gorgeous shape and hear that awesome high speed sound as they shot passed us, absolutely megga!

Congratulations to everyone that made it on the day. I need to thank you all for making it such a fantastic day, great people together achieve great things,,VFM it most certainly was.

I/we also need to thank those that although initially adding their names to the entrants list, through no fault of their own were unable to join us. Several of you, you know who you are, in a very honourable way I am proud to say, even though you were unable to attend, generously made a full payment transfer, for which I am extremely grateful.

It is unfortunate that despite the above, there remains a deficit in payments received as follows:

26 payments (including my own of course) £9160 (Shrek V12VR paid £410 in error), plus £100 from Paul for the Corvette paid in cash yesterday (unecessary Paul but thank you) total in £9260. The bill for the day; MSV circuit operators, £11,352 inc VAT + Instructors Steve £275, Karl and Michael @ £225 total £725. Grand total £12077,,, minus £9260 received, balance remaining £2817.

I'm sure there is a fair way to settle it up,,,better people than me on here that will know how.

I'm trying to load a superb grid piccy of us all but for some reason today nothing happens when I click Upload an image (beta),,,any ideas please.

PS: Donington in March has been mentioned, so too was Brands??

Seems fairly straightforward Bob
9 people to pay 2817 would be £313 each
Which is so near as to the original sum I've transferred £350. Gutted to have missed the day and sorry you had all the angst

Outstandingly good fun!

Worryingly addictive...the car performed very well for me, especially the brakes! Had a 45 minute non stop session to round my day off and I only stopped as the childminder was getting tetchy!

Fantastic!

There is a mildly amusing story about the incident with Dean in the Vanq yes

I took Jamie out for a spin and on the out lap, putting some heat into the brakes etc, he was catching quickly. Just as I was about to indicate to let him by, a blue flag was waved at me (or was it a red rag). At that moment some form of mist descended within the car and off we went. Dean then told the story from his perspective, which was... I was catching you up and I saw a blue flag waved, I turned to my passenger and said watch now, that will upset him. I said that obvious huh....
