My vote goes to Donnington for next time BTW. To avoid all the financial angst in future my very simple suggestion is that you are not on the list until you have paid 100% of estimated costs to the organiser. If you pull out that is only returned by somebody else taking your specific place. Why not a deposit of say 25 or 50%? Because if you look at what happened this time that would still have left you very short of cash which is why I have paid the £313 rather than whatever the deposit would have been at the cut off time. Just my suggestion so that we can enjoy future events minus the financial stress.

Peter thank you, thank you very much. I take on board your suggestion re 'payment to be transferred when adding ones name to the list', that is a simple and fair way to proceed. Thanks again for the transfer,,,we're getting there.

LD, well done. Although I wasn't checking every lap, I didn't see anymore than 126 along Bentley. If I think about it, for some reason I don't understand, Brundle was one bend I never seemed to quite master, you know, have that 'I know where I need to be line' confidence,,but I will next time.
