Snetterton exclusive track day for your Aston,,,,,19th Sept.
Discussion
Silverstone are very expensive, cheapest circuit £12,800 + vat for the National circuit + loads of risk assessment nonsense. Donington have nothing available until 31st Oct (too cold). Snettertons new 300 circuit is available on Friday 19th September @ £9,300 + vat. Facilities are similar to Rockinghams: http://www.snetterton.co.uk/
I'm all ears.
Rockingham was £8,250 + vat.

Bob, you suggested perhaps also having some allocation of time during the day so that passengers/wives/husbands etc. could drive with an instructor. My wife would certainly welcome that as it would build her confidence driving the car in a safe environment.
I have no knowledge of Snetterton so it is as good as any from my perspective. How does the price compare? I would love to do Rockingham again at some stage.

We did this at Rockingham straight after lunch...Georgina had never even sat in the drivers seat before and ended up doing 12+ laps with an instructor. (She wouldn't drive home though stating that she was a "Track Driver" and not bothered with 'A'-Roads.... I have no knowledge of Snetterton so it is as good as any from my perspective. Great idea. Snetterton was one of the 2 tracks highly recommended by the lead Instructor at Rockingham so "I'm in". (Now, where is that photographers number)????
Snetterton is just down the road from me so I'm in.
(If you are after somewhere with no noise limits, did you know that the Lotus factory at Hethel (just outside Norwich so 20 mins from Snetterton) has it's own test track? They might be willing to hire it out for the day to a gaggle of Astons).

Excellent. Bah humbug to A roads My daughter didn't partake of that session, but my wife would definitely be interested if we can do it next time.

Found a good hotel 2 miles from the track. http://www.brecklandlodge.co.uk/
(We are booked in for the 18th and 19th. We are so glad we didn't have to drive back after the track day, especially on a Friday afternoon).
