Well silver was my first choice, and my 911 is silver as was previous car. But this im actually warming to a lot and the missus loves it. It also is pretty rare in this colour so im glad i went for it.

If ever you park it at Heathrow you'll be glad you didn't buy a silver one wink

lol, no it will be in darkest Dorset which speaking to the missus over the past few days there are definitely no other Astons in our village so hopefully a bit of a talking point.

Lovely colour - congrats !

Only advantage of the plinth is a little extra protection - I guess if I parked regular on the street in London I might think twice but even then, it looks sooo much better without ! Not aware of any warranty implications

Very nice - not enough Astons with an actual colour on the roads! I predict a slow 2 weeks!

Well its specc'd with front parking sensors so the plinth is kind of redundant so ill look at taking it off when i get it home. That will please the other half "why you looking for your tools, you told me it was reliable, spending all that money and you want to change it".....i can hear it now!! lol

rofl

I had exactly the same from Lady S last week. Within 2 hours, the plinth was off, Fuse 22 out, AMOC badge on etc,,,,

LBS,

If you don't mind me saying but the front of your car is crying out for a shortened plate. The font size and spacing would still be the legally required size but the end of the plates could be trimmed to remove most of the (wasted) white area. If I was a whiz with Photoshop, I'd mock you up a shot. But I'm not, I'm afraid.

Great looking colour. As a new owner since last August, I know you will have an itch till collection. Later you can get to the proper version, a V12 like mine !!!

Something like this??
I see where you are coming from and I am thinking of having some new plates made as these are off my DB7 with a red border and I think ones with a dark blue border would look better smile
