This would be a short jaunt from the Forest of Dean for me & Lisa so this could well be our first meet!

Do you think you can take a detour near to Pen Y Fan? As much as I'd love to join you, on the 28th June I shall be taking part in a 12 hour nonstop race, involving cycling, climbing a mountain and canoeing raising money for action medical research for children....

The possible sight and sound of a bunch of Astons going past will certainly help with motivation!

Just a thought! Hope you all have a brilliant time!

Rob (donations welcome of course)

I'm very disappointed, these are such unmissable events!
Unfortunately I'll be in the Vanquish in the Swiss Alps
(If the gearbox holds up).

Very tempting Molly, very tempting indeed, but "she who must be obeyed" insists its Andermatt and Grindelwald.

Can't say I blame her. We get the best of both worlds - we are off to the Alps the following week thumbup

Yep, 40 square miles of forest and I'm pretty sure we're the only one.

No, not an original, which will be easily discernible from my only having five digits per hand, the fact that I have a neck, and I won't be chewing on a badger's leg. No bears (yet) but plenty of boar. Damned things tore the garden up last year.

Had a chat with SWMBO and the answer was 'no, we can't come back from holiday early so you can drive round Wales like a banzai'.

Shame as it is a fantastic meet to be at, so if you haven't been before then make time to be there. Great cars, great people and great roads. How much better can it get?!

Don't know if you guys have already done it, but the B4391 between Bala and Ffestiniog is a stunning road, with awesome views...

Yes Jon, we did & yes, the plan is forming smile The Metropole is well-known amongst petrolheads and they regularly host car & bike clubs so I think they will cope with us.

A small selection of cars staying there on Friday:
