Not yet had a negative comment in the 3 AM's. Had plenty in Porkers, usual bunch of idiots.... but had a nice 'old gent' come up to me in a petrol station when I had a Dino246GTS and tell me I'd make his day if he could sit in it.... day duly made....and I didn't even charge him, but got a teeth out snog from his wife!! nice ( so I suppose that was depressing )

Only had the one negative comment and that was in the V8, a load of Chavs in a focus ST. Mind I did have m very hot mate in the car at the time so it could have been more down to seeing her smile
I've got visions of Del Boy with the two 'ladies' in the back. biggrin

Yes a Volante, I have never ever had any grief until the other day, some people are so small minded!

Last year when I was driving a Lamborghini Gallardo I owned at that time in slow moving traffic here in Plymouth, three scumsuckers in a shedster Focus pulled up alongside me in the outside lane.

The moron in the front passenger seat wound down his window and shouted out " c**t," to which I replied " Yes but at least I'm a rich one."

For some reason that seemed to confuse his brain cell.
The reply should have been "Ah you spotted your reflection in my shiny paintwork did you?"

I have to say that while fiends who drive those 2-door VWs with the Porsche logo are often snubbed at junctions, I find that since having a DB9 I have never been offered so much courtesy by other road users. Wonderful really!

I have a DB7 Volante and have never had any negative comments. I did have an old open R-R some years ago and a pair of intellectual Birkenhead 'gentlemen' in shell suits referred me to a "fornicating rich b*****d" as I drove past them. My response (shouted over my shoulder ) was 'ABSOLUTELY! I was going to get out and teach them a lesson with the starting handle, but my wife suggested this wasn't a very good idea!
