Just cleaned the front end debris off - definitely need film for the next one - that paint is like butter - many thanks for arranging Jeff - best fun since I got the car and great route and bunch of people.
Here, here it was an absolute blast. The people of Wilmslow certainly enjoyed the Aston's going through their village...even taking camera videos of us. I'm sure we disturbed a few sleepy hamlets out of their Sunday morning slumber too. Especially Bins...how loud is that thing!
Thanks for organising Jeff, thoroughly enjoyable morning and great company over lunch. Makes me want to come to Wales now but I see it's full up. Sorry Sandy, looks like Tam can't join you at the bar and spa!

Thanks Jeff for another fantastic drive around Northants. And thanks Binz for the tinnitus that comes from following you for a few miles! Oh and thanks Dave for adding some much needed colour.

It was a great drive and equally great to meet new faces as well as the old. I hope Tammy's neck has recovered - the first time I've heard of someone getting whiplash from moving forwards biggrin

A special day for me Jeff so thanks again for making it a memorable one thumbup

Well, another day of fun in the sun completed, and we didn't get lost once woohoo
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, traffic wasn't too bad, given that it was a bright Sunday morning. I thought the perfect storm of Lycra wearers/horse boxes/garden centre botherers would conspire to frustrate, but we did ok.

A couple of pics of the day - apologies for the car park at the meet point, I wasn't aware it resembled the surface of the moon.. getmecoat

P.S Thanks Dave, for injecting a splash of colour to proceedings thumbup

Hi Jeff - hope this turns out well for you - can't believe you haven't got more people coming along - all talk most of them aren't they rolleyes

BTW - please let me know if KiwiSG turns up on Sunday as he has yet to make his hotel booking for the WW - give him a nudge if you see him or there may be another slot free on WW3 biggrin
How many Astons on tour today Jeff? Did KiwiSG turn up?

Top, top day Jeff, well done fella. The route was great, some of the overtakes were...."interesting", but my 10 ft long bungy cord only snapped once, when Sukh decided to demonstrate the power of the V12! Ate more gravel than I did lunch, and I too have a slight ringing in my right ear. Car's covered in a rash more common at an STD clinic, and I met some really very nice new people. The Kiwis did turn up, but being Antipodean, they went the wrong way around and met us at the pub!

Great start to the hooning season, and for those booked onto the WW3, you're very lucky indeed!

Ps, Frankie's trousers were outstanding.

Can I just apologise for the red trouser thing...I didn't mean to take anything away from Dave's Roadster's colour!

No need to worry Frankie, it would have been a more sombre affair without the double dash of red in the sea of grey and black smile.
