it would allow a good team coms if the airwaves are used only by a few key vehicles in the team- any experiences of this working?
As Rob said, as veterans of 2 Petrolhead Nirvana Alpine tours and having used WT over the past couple of years on tour in Wales, its good for as many as possible to have them but you do have to be careful that banter doesn't get in the way of the important stuff. Don't worry - we will make sure that everyone has all the info they need so that we all, hopefully, end up in the same place! Comms are not a necessity but its good to have them so - anyone who has WTs bring 'em along and we will try to get tuned in to the same channel

Molly, I see you are full up with 20 cars but if there is a spare place or a drop out I'd love to be able to come with my better half Tammy. If it's doable I promise the red trousers will stay at home!
Frankie - thank you - its so nice to see some enthusiasm. You've done your first run-out and next thing you know you can't wait to do another Addictive isn't it How do you think we come to be arranging a 3rd such event Now that's the way ahead - to organise your own event! We would have loved to have seen the red trousers (& they don't even look like AMOC members issue either!) but already have a +1 who we are hoping to sneak in under the radar. If anyone has a change of plan then you are definitely our man in reserve

Bloody hell!
In 3 weeks time I will be meeting Molly, Rob and Pearl.
In that order!
I will only have myself and 12 Aston Martin cylinders to protect myself!
Thanks again for organising it!
Keeping you awake too is it Mike? Glad I'm not the only one. I go through the whole route in my head most nights! In 3 weeks time I will be meeting Molly, Rob and Pearl.

One recent debate at home was Rob (surprisingly) said he thought we shouldn't have the 'loud' button on all the time in order to spare whoever is in the next vehicle behind us - but I said give 'em hell
Will be in touch with everyone soon as our lunch venue has requested advance orders (36 people turning up at, hopefully, pretty much the same time, I think that is probably wise ).
Also thinking about sharing the route sooner rather than later as forewarned is fore-armed, particularly for those of you without co-drivers (ok, passengers, call them what you will but you might want to warn them that they have a job to do too ).
WIDE awake early this morning with this running in my head so I thought we really should share it again! It is from mikeyk's run out in Wales April 2013 and gives you an idea of what to expect if you've a) never done a group run b) never driven in Wales. Love it (even if I didn't at the time as some b*stard had MADE me drink too much the night before NEVER AGAIN!)

However, after the inevitable cooked breakfast and with the evening meal in mind, I may have to plump for something a little lighter.. yes, you heard it here first. I have a tricky decision ahead .
