V8V wing mirrors

An AM dealer quoted £1,300 for 2 wing mirror caps + paint!!

Any suggestions for cheaper sources? Unfortunately I have an uncommon colour so 2nd hand might not be an option.
I believe they are Volvo items, that might be a lead?

Can you not get yours refurb'd at a body shop? I'd be surprised if it would cost more than a couple of hundred quid.

Or buy some Carbon fibre ones on ebay - fit them yourself (I believe its relatively easy) - I think they're around £500

Or Aston martin bits - buy some good condition used ones and if necessary get painted.

If the car is pre-2010MY, you can also buy replacements from a Volvo dealer and have them painted at a local shop.

Or you could sand them smooth and wrap them in vinyl.
