I, ve just bought a 13 reg V8V with the Premium Audio. Tried to set it up after reading the manual. No joy. Went on the FAQ on this site, as l did with my 07 Vantage, which also had the Premium Audio. Set it up no problem in my 07. No joy with the new Vantage even after following the info from FAQ. What am l missing? Cheers

Not sure what you mean by "no joy" - What exactly are you struggling with? Getting into the menus, or getting it to sound good having applied the settings from the FAQ?

They don't always sound as if they they are on. Depends on source, the music and the volume. Have you tried putting it all the rear just to check they are working?

The rears are always quiet even with the fader turned up to max, but if you genuinely cant hear anything then there is either a fault or you have the Std audio, not Premium. Std looks exactly the same but has no rear speakers mounted under the grills - that said if it says "Premium Audio" when you switch it on you might have a faulty Amp.

Neil. Will try putting everything through the rear tomorrow. Adam it definitely is the Premium Audio as l, ve got the spec sheet from when the car was built and its on there. If its a faulty amp my local dealer can sort it. Cheers for the help

Make sure you're in the CD or media setting... if I remember correctly, it won't set up when you have the radio selected! Sounds odd I know (if you forgive the pun).

Rememebered I had the same problem a while back - it was the surround sound settings.

It may also be worth trying the settings that Brent (divetheworld) popped up on this thread.

They were derived through measurement which highlighted pretty big holes in the OEM setup. Anything to plug those gaps is worthwhile.
