Looking good mate. You certainly have a very well protected teaspoon. The paintshield guys are the best at what they do.

Don't usually post but thought I should just say I highly recommend the Paintshield guys(and girls) in Peterborough.
Had my DB9 2 done at Paintshield and more recently my Jaguar F type coupe. Both full front, sills and wheel arches,a perfect job,no knives in sight.Really good people to do business with.

Thanks Paddy, you're a legendary detailing man (also a legend within the WI - The Cake Club Ambassador laugh )

Looks superb. Just remember 'don't touch the bubbles'

Simon, thanks, it is a nightmaresmile all you want to do prod any little bubbles you find (there are not too many fortunately) It takes around 7-11 days for the water under the film to completely evaporate I am told. I month for the film to then harden fully. No car washing for a week for me now!

Yes, you don't get many of them which is a relief and they usually all go quite quickly.

Anne at PS told me how to get rid of any stubborn ones. I had one left on the front of the nearside sill and it just wouldn't go even after six weeks and standing the car in nice warm sunshine, but the way to do it is easy as a last resort.

I was on Tom's and his lovely wife's very generously (wine) sponsored table at The George, but I'm not sure who he's talking about as I for one certainly had less than a gallon of red that night whistle . Tom, my turn next year yes

It wasn't me,I was as sober as a judge, not taking any chances after suffering food poisoning at a certain curry establishment.
However if I knew Nick was buying I would have blagged a seat on his table, huh, some bleed'in chance.

I've decided to have the full frontal. My paint is in such a good condition I feel it's necessary.
Not cheap though.

Booked for early october.biggrin

Any clues how i can protect the paintwork from picking up potential stone chips from driving down there?
Apart from keep speed down and leave a big gap from vehicle in front 100 mile trip.
Also worried about swirling the delicate paint as they will have to clean it beforehand.
Anal i know but its a expensive car and a not so cheap wrap. smile

Thanks and a apology for hi jacking the thread.biggrin

They have a covered car transporter that they can use to pick your car up, which will definitely avoid swirls and stone ships.
