I thought the film is a sod to apply onto a glass coat. That's why Paintshield recommended glass coating after the film is applied when I had mine done. Have things changed now?

Nope. The coating is only on the areas that have no film on.

On the train to Peterborough now to pick it up. Rain predicted all afternoon for the drive back Hopefully will manage to get some pics of Paddy's work before it gets wet!
