Have to confess that my commitment to Pistonheads and the V12V Register isn't so extreme such that getting that VIN number was my only reason to fly to Dubai. Returning from the other side of the world had something to do with it too.

Yes, my flights were fine but I have to confess to some relief when the map thing showed we had safely crossed the border from Iraqi to Turkish airspace.
