Congrats - the best looking Gaydon car IMHO yes
yes

Well done Cliff - there is now at least one car in your road with the correct amount of cylinders hehe
Huh???

The DB9 and the DBS both have V12's. So there's no change there then.

I think there may have been a reference there to the other Aston in the village - that would be us then tongue out

Congratulations Cliff - & there was us thinking you were likely to be leaving the Aston fold spin We look forward to being suitably impressed with your latest improved version of 12 cylinders of fun. Now what time in the morning would you like your 8 cylinder Aston wake up call? tongue out

Spontaneity rules. BTW this is a quiet neighbourhood and the locals don't like nowt but a trac'or or donkey noise ....or sheep...but that's another story...wake us up any time with your sub dozen chorus x

Washing the DB9 for the last time before niece's wedding tomorrow (waste of time considering the forecast but it has to be done..) I am still struck by the fluid lines and just the(soft focus here) " loveliness" of the machine. So pretty. But as with lovers and time in general, time to move on, and, I hate to have to say this as I love it still... But, the 9 looks a bit feminine compared to the "S". ...... I was going to say " girlie" but I would suffer the consequences..."...and besides beauty/beholder and all that. I even hear some folks pimp their trucks at the garage formerly known as BR, but what would I know about such mysticism.. (Just off to count the number of toes trodden on in that posting..)

Well done Cliff ! Aston Martin showrooms can be dangerous places in which to loiter. In my opinion the DBS is without doubt the finest most dramatic looking model that Gaydon have built to date. I look forward to seeing it in the near future.

One thing that slightly puzzles me though is that a short while ago you claimed that you were selling your DB9 through lack of interest and subsequent use. What has brought about such a change of thinking? I thought that your yacht was your primary interest.

Hope the wedding goes well today

You are correct, Cliff, and it is oft stated that the DB9 has a feminine look, hence its beauty. The DBS takes its genes from the muscular Vanquish and is far more intimidating on the road.

So your preference - in essence - has changed from women to men. You should seek help smile

T'was winter and grey blah, blah and then we used the car more and realised why she was taken on board in the first place. Then we are just impetuous and it seems like a good idea now!

Dear Mr. Jockman - damn you are cute x don't knock it til you try it. The cylinders are virtually the same but the noise is slightly different.... Besides, as you will note from the the previous blurb I still love it (db9) so perhaps I am bi DB ???

Nice one Cliff. Your DBS looks fab! I think your plan to use it on a regular basis is a sound one. We look forward to seeing it .
