Hi just trying to find out which is the correct disc to up date the vantage sat nav. My
Car is a 2010 4.7 with the new style facia. I believe I have HDD type sat nav, I can't
get full post code which is what I'm after

I hope someone can help

Thanks

Chris
I bought a MY2010 Vantage at the end of 2009, I can confirm it has the HDD sat nav with full post code search etc, and the female German prison guard voice (credit JC of course!).

Sadly m not at home to give you the serial numbers at the moment but I'm surprised yours has not already got it!

The Volvo discs will work if you at least get it for model XC90, etc from MY 2010. Latest disc available (at Volvo dealer or online) are from 2015 (2016/17 might come later).

Examples:

Official Volvo: http://www.parts4swedes.nl/nl/product/rti-dvd-upda...

Not so official: https://www.naviware.nl/webshop/277950-volvo-rti-m...

Install only on a 3hr drive - the system sleeps otherwise - even if plugged to a charger.

Hi Ken,
Ideally yes, but it can be done incrementally. As long as the sat nav is switched on it'll continue to update after an interruption. Mine took 3 attempts but without any ill effects

I did it overnight and over a couple of drives the next day.

Went into Aston today, they said if i update the Sat nav it will work as long as I leave the disc in, only the maps update, but will still not accept a full post code search. When the disc is removed it reverts back to standard Aston set up.

Has anyone first hand experience of the update, will it update to full post code search, 2010 HDD MODEL

Thanks for the input
