A wker is a term of derision, whereas a tosser is a term of endearment and a badge of honour when bestowed by Tony.
Nevertheless I pity anyone who called either Molly or Robert a wker. laugh

Having met Rob and talked various cars ( including the 458 ) at Burghley I cannot say I am totally surprised. As a 997GT3 owner ( albeit manual ) as well as my V8 I can say they are truly great cars - just don't expect as much banter from the Porsche forum on PH. Good luck with your purchase - which dealer btw ?
Dick Lovett in Tewksbury. When I ordered the car they had only been open for 3 weeks. I was told today that the entire UK allocation of GT3's is now sold out. Your 997GT3 represents a very sound investment.

Kul, so nice to hear from you. GT3RS Andy and I were only talking about doing another Petrol Head Nirvana tour yesterday. I think we should!

Yes William, that's the one. Have a look at Chris Harris's report, then Evo magazines, then AutoCars and so on. By the way our color choice is red !! smokin
Really you've got an 991 GT3 RS delivery in December....my and its not even released yet.. impressive !

(those are patent pictures of the purported 991 GT3 RS...which by latest accounts is a Detroit ..maybe Geneva release..)

Regardless welcome to GT3 ownership ...dare say it will seduce..best of luck.

My mistake, our order is for a GT3 not an RS. Excited I suppose!
Anyway 911's are like Aston Martins. They all look the same! wink

Rob , depending on who you believe the max UK allocation was around 132 cars although people have suggested up to the numbers you suggested as regards the current version - either way you have done well to get one as a factory build. All GT values have been increasing but a) must be a limit and b) a bubble to burst.

All the best Rob & Molly.

Romi was asking if we'd see you for the Highland Hoon, to which I answered you had been surprisingly quiet of late. Now we know why...

991 GT3 is an epic car by all accounts so am sure you'll love your new steed. Enjoy it in good health and hopefully our paths will cross soon.

Adam

PS - Molly, if you wouldn't mind still sharing the route, hotel reservation number, menu options etc for next year's AM Welsh Weekender, that would be appreciated biggrin

Rob/Mol- since you are more obsessed than ever on sharp handling cars (even pumped up Volkswagens... wink ) why don't you just get a track or racing car and blat around a circuit - that way you could retain a touch of class with an AM for "real world" travel....Just sayin' ....
But, hey, whatever pulls your chain and you only get one shot at this life business, so good luck to you.

Well done, quite a surprise. Are you putting it back to stock or has it gone in with all the extras on it?

Hi Kul - can we join your club please? biggrin

Like the photo. Funnily enough we happened to find that same restaurant on tour this summer - we were there on 10/07/14:

I think we had better wait 'til we actually have a GT3 in our garage before we book any tours but we are really looking forward to the PHN reunion & I'm only disappointed that our big news is out now so I can't surprise you with it then!

PS Please look after our Aston friends Martyn & Mona on tour next month - they are PHN virgins and don't know what they've let themselves in for yet wink
