Congrats on the new toy Rob ( and Molly) sometimes it's good to have a change and come back to the marque refreshed.
The GT3 is an awesome, howling demon of a driver's car, and if you enjoy max-attack driving it's one of the best, I had a new 997 GT3 between Astons and loved the beast. The only problem is it made you drive everywhere like your pants were on fire (honest) so be careful of your license, as it is also rather attention grabbing! I wouldn't count on amazing residuals unless you sell relatively quickly, the 997 was limited supply as well but still took the usual dip. By the way, nice colour choice, what spec have you gone for?
One word of warning, beware of road kill, the front spoiler is so low it scrapes up dead stuff like a Vulture Anyway I hope you enjoy the whole Porker thing, no doubt you have already been to their Silverstone track? Hopefully your pants will stay intact long enough so when you are ready to change the new Vantage/DB9 will be out.

As a number of you have asked about the spec, well you have probably gathered by now that its going to be Guards Red (we've done a couple of shades of silver plus a white one with Aston so lets be seen - safety first ) as for the rest, front axle lifters (still pretty damn low to the ground even with this feature!), heated seats, cruise (yes, we still want our creature comforts), the usual stuff like comms pack, tracking etc plus the sport chrono pack.
Molly & Rob
thanks for the LOLs with your posts and the great WW organisation. What a great weekend, the driving experience almost matched the Rob's smutty talk for entertainment value! Having been followed by the orange bee thing-limpet-with-a-bag-of-nails-for-an-engine Andrew and negotiated both several sheep and a lively cow during the weekend i can well understand the attraction of a Porker GTsomething (always lusted after a black 930 Turbo or road legal 935 myself but don't tell anyone).
As an Old Monmothian I would have expected you to go for the 918 to be really classy though...
Therefore i'm a bit disappointed...didn't you consider a used V12 Zagato? that would have been top trumps knockout and allowed you to remain a bone fide member of the club rather than having to rely on invited guest appearances
Keep up the pace.
Mike
PS The other half has given me a pass for a PHN 2015 tour so PM me any plans to christen the panzerwagen.

BTW - unrelated to the thread (& I wouldn't want to take it off topic - heaven forbid!) but Rob's on the wagon!!!! (11 days now!)
Aaaahh..........now I understand ! but still in shock !! Good luck you two. You will be missed. When next in Hereford I'll lookout for a red thing with a bracket waiting at a side junction to be let out . Keep in touch !!!Edited by MollyGT3 on Monday 25th August 21:39

It's definitely very.. Rob Not sure about a classy MILF like Molly though Who in their right mind wants to be inappropriately overtaken on the Brecon Beacons by an Alan Rickman look-a-likey in his late 50s driving a car with an enormous 'fin' on the back of it?
I think we need to send Molly a wig and a moustache to disguise herself

R&M... What was the deal with Pearl and the extra 'BR' bits? Did they take those in to account or just offer the money for s standard V8S? Just wondering if having the 'enhancements' helped with the resale value. (For obvious reasons)..
Dave I will send you an e.mailGeoff

Oh Dear Geoff what have you said. Molly is currently getting dressed for work. I have just peered upstairs to see five and a half inch heels a lot of thigh, pencil skirt and a blouse that seems to have exploded. Please wish me luck I think that I am going to need it. It seems that I am going to have a scarlet woman to match my car.

Jockers you sweet man, red is the colour choice, with no scaffolding inside or out. There is of course a very efficient rear spoiler which contributes to it lapping the Nurburgring in 7 mins 23 secs. I would love the opportunity to explain to you the 34 reasons why I have chosen to leave the Aston Martin fold. Being very serious, the decision was a difficult one and not taken lightly.

Darling Rob - you don't have to explain your decision to anyone, let alone me. I never felt compelled to explain my thought processes to anyone when selling. Neither did Di, nor Cockers, nor Seemon etc I would love the opportunity to explain to you the 34 reasons why I have chosen to leave the Aston Martin fold. I think you've made the right decision for the 2 of you and - considering what you did to your Aston - I'm not >really< surprised by your choice of car. I do believe you would have put that rear thingy on your Vantage if you could have
