With the DBS still making strong money do you think the special editions the carbon will it become a classic?
No,they are not different enough from the regular model. The manuals will be the classics I would have thought ,how many manual v12 cars can you buy these days.?
Funnily enough I was talking to a mate about this yesterday, him noting the strong residuals.
I reckon they have some more to lose in the short term [next couple of years] down to around £50k then they will likely start appreciating for the right spec.
Wish it was me and not him with the money to be looking at one!

I don't think so ,looking at my crystal ball......I reckon they have some more to lose in the short term [next couple of years] down to around £50k then they will likely start appreciating for the right spec.

Over the next couple of years a DBS coupe with sub 25K miles and FSH......£75K
DBS Volante as above spec.....£95K
DBS Manual as above..............£90K
Over time I think the a looked after DBS will hold it's money, subject to all the other variables that might affect the marketplace.

I agree apart from the specials which would help sell the car if reqd over a std DBS, offering something a bit more special.Over the next couple of years a DBS coupe with sub 25K miles and FSH......£75K

At the moment they fetch a premium of circa 10/15%,don't see that changing much but Astons are mileage and FSH sensitive to fetch top dollar, unsurprisingly.
It would not surprise me if 10 years down the line the very best specimens went the way of the real Vanquish, especially as future Astons might be perceived as a different breed.
