Looking to buy a ODB unit specifically for V8V. Any recommendations on best unit for the job?

Thanks in advance.

I use a PLX KiWi 2 with a couple of iPhone/iPad apps (Dash Command and Rev).

These ones do the job:

Now less than £20 on eBay.

Does it check all the bits, ie ABS etc, or just emissions and the like?

Just the standard ODB items.

For everything else, you will need the OEM AM system. Which will cost you slightly more than £20! (even if you can source one).

Thanks Bravo, I had the RAC out the other day with a Toughbook and he could only see engine (so he said)

An Autel 702 will read body port items and do things like reset the SRS light.

To do it ALL you actually need the AM system with the two OBD connectors
