Could anyone tell me how common it is to find wear/fraying on the sides of the fabric roof of a 6+ year old V8V roadster?

What I've seen looks like 2-inch long frayed lines in the weave (identical positions on either side/corner) where the roof start to slant down for the rear window section.

I'd expect some wear from the folding over the years but wondering if there's ever been a report of leaks eventually occuring? I'm not sure where the folds happen in the roof-down process but as they're identical either side I guess it can't be anything else.

On a sidenote, roughly how much is replacement fabric/roof if it was ever needed?

Thanks!

Have you looked at the thread I linked in the FAQ?

Wasn't able to get a photo at the time and couldn't find anything relevant in the FAQ however, I'm now certain the wear is down to the fabric folds rubbing when the roof's down (apparently quite common with any folding roof).

Not a lot more can be said unless other owner's have had similar experiences, thanks.

I've had two roadsters and use the roof a LOT, not seen any signs of wear on any I've looked at other than the linked thread.
