Are you obligated to maintain Tracker subscription?

I understand that there might be insurance implications, but provided these are mitigated, I'd rather forgot this expense. Given my intended usage and place of secure storage it seems somewhat unnecessary.

Thanks for the link. That pretty much confirms my thoughts.

If the searched had brought that thread back when referencing "tracker" I'd have saved us both some time. Search function is about as useful as a tracker.

I've just renewed mine using the Bluetooth option. I feel it's more secure that way.
But I do feel I'm helping the insurance company more than me, but as I use a multi car policy I'm still saving by having it.

It all depends on your insurance company. Some insist on a tracker, some don't. It's often linked to the car's value (as is the case with Lockton).

It made no difference to my premium when I was looking at quotes so I didn't bother.

Yep often value linked. I know with BMW the magic figure used to be about 50k. Either that or its coincidence (or possibly car age) that 2 of my cars needed it when above that figure, and then didn't when below.
