If any one is interested it looks like the launch car for the Vantage V8 S roadster has come up for sale
Fair bit of history to this car and a good spec (colour coded light weight seats for a start!)
Marmite colour but I quite like it!
Mileage might put some off

Not for me.

When you say launch car was this the Aston press car? If so it may well have had some hard driving done in it during its not inconsiderable mileage

I doubt that the gentleman featured here would have ragged it.

It is actually the 2nd known Roadster S. The first was the same spec but LHD

I didn't say I was going to buy it. It's not got a proper roof for a start.

Wind in your hair, flies in your teeth etc etc. I get that on my road bike so I don't need it in my car thanks.

If I had two, one would be a roadster. Only having one it has to have a proper roof.

Anyway, who you calling an old fart? Pot, kettle etc.

Yes yes yes. And both must have 12 cylinders presumably as well. One day, maybe?

Hi Guys

New to this Aston forum I'm currently looking at purchasing a
2011 V8 Vantage Coupe 6-speed Sportshift ASM,been out on a test drive and all
appears to be sound and correct, but not knowing a great deal about
this model is there anything or untoward I need to be a where of with this model?

Cheers

Mark

That should be ASM1, test it at low speed and see how you get on with creep mode and hill starts
ASM1 benefits from regular clutch learns, an AM dealer should be able to tell you the wear index on the clutch
