Now it's in the Flesh I think the yellow stripe should go full length across the door.

I agreed but Karl can't do that as it needs paint rather than vinyl frown

That's just the light/camera. It's actually a green! (Alloro Green).

Not necessarily paint, but a faded effect on the vinyl. Tony came up with a printing solution (earlier in the thread).

All I can sya is...

...'Bout time you got a green car!

And looking at the Esprit, since it looks to be the same yellow as the trim on the Aston, seems logical to paint the calipers and put a stripe on it in Alloro Green.

Not a fan of the faded stripe it looks like it's trying too hard.
Still not sure if any stripey thing suits an Aston.
Anyway Tony likes the faded stripe which probably rules it out for most discerning people. wink
As KF has done it would be enough for me.
Regardless the car looks great.
As always it's down to the owner.

KF, I think your car would look absolutely stunning without any yellow on it smile......love the blacked out window surrounds.

Ignore me though, I'm very boring.

Also, don't sit on your new iPhone. Great shots from it btw.

I agree. I think that adding any more yellow would be too much. You will never get everyone to agree in our "design by committee" exercise here. My original design goal was to add a little more yellow than just the brake calipers without adding the factory graphics pack (which included the bigger full lipstick, mirror covers and a-pillars that I didn't like). I'm happy with the result for now.

I still have to install the carbon splitter and diffuser that are sitting in boxes at home. I was going to start doing that two nights ago and then realized that Aston changed the design of the wheel well liners a little. Starting with the S you now have to remove the large metal rear undertray to get access to one single last bolt that holds each liner in place. It was getting a bit late so I decided to postpone the project to another day since both front and rear bumper will have to come off the car.

So what you are saying is that you are the target market for the flood of tungsten silver with obsidian black cars that are in the market?smile
