Perhaps I am in a minority camp but I think the Vantage looks equally good with or without sills. I don't however understand people asking for opinions on wether to do certain things to their car, buy certain watches etc surely you are buying things for yourself not for others.
So if you like it with sills then fit them and if you like it as it is then don't fit them.

Can I ask though what constitutes carbon tat and why it is then felt to be tat. AM fit carbon fibre parts themselves and while I might question some of their colour schemes, purely on personal taste, I would never think AM and tat in the same breath.

It was never my intention to put sills on my Vantage, I simply asked the question would YOU put them on, which in my opnion has stirred quite an interesting debate.

Addenda like this on a V8V are like fake boobs. They look nice enough, but all the while you're looking thinking there's something not quite right there...and knowing that an au naturelle girl would look so much better. It wouldn't prevent you having a go perhaps, but you'd know there was better out there.

(Not keen on the wheels either - original 7 spokes or the 5 spoke sports pack wheels would be my pref).

I was in doubt too (same colour and roadster), I was thinking for long time before to put the sills but I can tell you that from live the car it's simply fantastic with them! the pictures don't give you the real impression

I have mounted the sills few weeks ago so I could choose all different models (even the last one on the new Vantage S) and I went for these ones

I love the look of Aston's sills on both the N420 and the V12V a lot. I would put sills on my own mother if I could.
