I deleted the post simply because it's not worth arguing with sheep.

I suggested this company didn't have the equipment to conduct the OEM test and your guy, Mike, confirmed they don't: Q.E.D.
yeah, you hit the nail on the head buddie, the Aston forum is full of sheep. Really!!!

good job you don't want to argue with sheep, a scan of some if your other interactions with humans on this forum shows you are no endearing Sheppard.

still remains to be asked, your help to this debate is exactly what? Other than continually rubbing folk up wrong way?
was the above really required?...you'll be on about bears next...lol

Bears are quiet safe me old mate, I'm back on this forum after notable absence not least cos bad home-life situation kept me from it, to give advice and help others along the way from knowledge which is gained from seeing something on this forum that few do, a constant stream of cars both good and bad to learn from and share knowledge with to those that need it.
Posters can pop onto the BR thread to read about some of the more fun stuff we do, but i'm not here for banter or any other forum antics, all you crazy cats can knock 7 bells out of each other as far as that is concerned, but better if it stopped.

I wanted to post a reply so i replied, you are not forum 'prefect' to ask me the question that you have, but if you were you would have noted that he deleted his own posts 3 times the other day cos content was offensive, and deleted this one too because of comments about me not relevant to the discussion.

The technical debate is brakes, general gassing should be somewhere else or this thread turns into many others where pointless drivel together with troll like conduct ruins it. This forum has taken a serious dive recently, its time to rebuild it and snipes and sarcasm from a few drives many away. Not that i suffer sense of humor failure, but this is the sort of snipe and sarcasm im talking about, it gets very boring after a while.

Good to see you are able to be back here Mike, and despite the digs I think in general everyone can learn much from your posts. Sadly, unless you are doing anything amazing for Hondas, I probably won't learn much at all that is of relevance to me at the moment, but I will store it for when I am back in the fold yes

Just FYI on the subject of Honda, the Honda forum is always on topic, no banter whatsoever and generally has at least three, and sometimes as many as five, posts per day so really easy to keep up to date with all that is happening with the Power of Dreams biggrin

Hi Mike,
As one not blessed with techy knowledge or DIY skills I do however enjoy reading the helpful advise of that nature that I read on this forum. It would be a poorer place without it.
I also enjoy partaking in the friendly banter that is prevalent on this forum and have had the pleasure to meet other forum members occasionally.
I am a little uncertain now that I have read your post whether such banter is still admissible as I would not wish to cause offence to anybody.
Will you please advise me on this subject as I would not wish to fall foul of any new forum rules.
Best regards
Steven

Carry on with however you wish to contribute, i'm not forum prefect either, and yes, banter is great, how else would we get to hear about carpet redesign at the dog and duck.

I'm just commenting which is an echo of the army of folk i speak to who say the same, that the forum doesn't get the subscription it should cos of offensive drivel which blinds a good discussion. If people want to do that sort of thing, do it elsewhere is all i'm saying

Was only looking at the Aston forum yesterday and thinking how dull it has now got.

Technical stuff always got answered within the first couple of posts

Bring back the banter, but without the trolling /insults.

Thank you for clearing that up for me.
I am in agreement that offensive drivel is not constructive or "best practise".
However pleased to know that my inoffensive drivel is OK. smile

Funny you should say that Neil,I was thinking the same thing.
I have been looking at the watch forum but there are only so many pics of hairy wrists I can take.
Also posted on political stuff but that does get a bit too "lively"even for me,you want to see how they insult each other on there.
Bamford Mike has certainly livened things up on a quiet Tuesday afternoon.
P.S.
To whom was his comment regarding the redesigning of the carpet at the D&D aimed at ,Shirley like to know who that is. confused
