Looking for a bodyshop for a bonnet spray in Bucks
Discussion
Morning all.
My beloved DB9 has finally fallen foul to some 'bubbling' which is on the bonnet edge and is ruining the looks of my pristine car and is bloody annoying!
I've been down the AM route and been offered the usual £250 contribution if i use their approved repairer but at £1500 it appears a bit expensive for me.
Do any of my fellow AM owners have any recomendations for a bodyshop in the Beds / Bucks area that could do the job but at a more reasonable rate?
Im based near Aylesbury
Thanks in advance

I would suggest you try Lone Pine in Olney, Bucks. You can google them. The have painted cars for Pebble Beach and Salon Prive. Works Service use them as do Aston and other specialists. They have painted a concours DB5C for me and have done very good work doing small jobs on other cars for me, both classic and modern.

I got a quote from Chiltern Aston and they were more expensive than AM - quoted £1800!!!
The bodyshop AM want to use I've had issues with before as I posted the 'saga' on here for your comments and advice as it took them 5 months to spray the side sills to a good enough match so not 110% convinced as its the bonnet and a bit obvious if a crap job
Will try the one mentioned, many thanks

I got my bonnet resprayed about a year and a half ago at a local bodyshop in Byfleet, Surrey, recommended by my neighbour. http://www.ptrepairs.co.uk/index.html He had another Aston in at the time which gave me confidence. It cost me about £650
The expensive route is to have the bonnet resprayed and the wings blended in. The cheaper option, which I went for is to just get the bonnet sprayed. Marc, at P&T repairs offered me the two options, and said the key to getting the cheaper option to work is to be as exact as they can be when mixing the paint.
In any lighting conditions, you cannot tell the bonnet is a respray.
