Hi.
Several things to try.
look behind pull lever in cabin, has the cable simply come out of puller, if so pull cable with pliers so bonnet opens.
Next / or, does hand pull lever feel like it is still attached to bonnet release arms at all? if so, pull on cable and have somebody else press quiet hard on corner of bonnet where release arms are located and hopefully the downward press / pulsing action will spring the release mech into life.
The cable from the pull lever in the cabin feeds one release arm which in tandem feeds the release arm the other side, so wherever the cable is (if its broken) you need to find the end of to pull it and get release arms to pop open, cos failing that, there is no real option of getting underneath the car to manually pop the release arms open
good luck
