Vantage V8 newbie.

Allan.good luck with the search. I've had my vantage for a week now. Been out for the first long drive today.
In a word or three....Fan bloody tactic. Nice comments where ever we stopped. Now a few words of my search. I viewed two before buying the car. First one was a light blue vantage. From my long search its the only one that colour. Don't go there it was not a good one. The other one was a white and 'wrapped'. Don't go there either. For obvious reasons I can't tell you where they are. And they have both been up for sale three weeks now.
I bought mine from Boss motors of kings Langley. Not to be confused with a company in Norfolk/Ipswich.
They have a silver vantage that appeared there when I collected mine. Run by father Steve, and son Matt. Two great guys that made the buying experience so good. Diane and I were made to feel very special right up until we drove out of their gates of their home based business. Might be worth a look eh. Tell them that Dave and Diane Smith recommended them.
Dave.

I'd like to hear more about the cars that you viewed and what was wrong with them, if you wouldn't mind. It helps my to know what to look out for and what sort of badness there is to avoid! I was lucky to buy my 2006 car from a friend but even some of the dealer cars were not as you would expect (in the paint department usually). It's surprising how good something looks in the photos but only in person do you see all the imperfections.
Hi.As I've only had mine a week,I'm probably not a lot of help.
the car is so different from the Tuscan. I will never knock TVR's
But the build quality of the Aston is quite a bit different.
I'll say no more;).
I've a couple of niggles to sort. The carpet in the boot is falling off.should be an easy fix,as an ex boat upholsterer.
check the stiffness of the wing mirrors. As the passenger side one on mine is a bit loose, and moves a bit at speed.I'm not sure how to fix this.If anyone knows will they let me know please. If anything else happens I will let you know.
