I find they put a car up at a stupid price and then start reducing it. I have seen some of there cars drop £6k. I am talking about V12Vantage.
I got zero discount on mine no matter how hard i pushed, best i was able to get was discounted clear rear lenses!

It is a light silver manual one done about 9000 miles, nice car but the colour does nothing for it IMHO.
Yep that's the one I had on loan.I don't like the colour and neither did Mrs Orse.Obviously not easy to sell either as the car has been with them a good few months.

I can't imagine that buying it from elsewhere in the group helps get a discount. My assumption (and I am often wrong) is that the profit/commission is split plus who get's to put the 'sale' towards their target?

If Stratstones are over priced, have those who have bought been able to negotiate discounts on the sticker price and if so, what percentage?

In fairness to them they do seem able to shift cars.

Are we talking nearly new or older stock? I went to look at a car about 18 months old and ended up in a new one for very little more so in essence, people often don't buy the car they went to see. I mentioned it earlier, I think they have the odd rogue used car that's priced expensive to make new cars look good value

(if the link doesn't work just look for the most expensive V8S Coupe for sale on the site).

92k for a 10 month old car when N430s are around that money if not lower.. guess which people would buy?

But try trading in a car of the same spec and age and you might get 72k.

Took me a while to get my head around that too, once the penny dropped...cake and eat it time! Remember pointing it out incredulously to Mr Finance there! Thick lot with money us...where do I sign? ;-)
