Hi,I have a 2008 DB9 Volante. I managed to crack the cover to the front offside parking sensor which has now dropped into the body fuselage. Any suggestions for how I access this part of the bodywork ? Is it a part that if recovered can be mended and reused or is it advisable to replace ? I live a 3 hour round trip from my nearest Aston garage so would like to do the repair myself or get the part so local garage might do it. Any advice gratefully received.

On the vantage its buried between the air box and the headlight, so not super accessible, assuming the DB9 is the same then your best bet is to remove either the bumper or the headlight, both are fairly straightforward but theres a load of bolts so you'll need a couple of hours. Like pretty much every other job you start by removing the inner guard and work from there.

You might be able to reach the sensor by reaching between the light and airbag with the inner guard removed but you'd need small hands, I'm not close to my car so not totally sure if that would work sorry
