You should be invited to the opening party now Paul.

I wonder if Lamborghini will be at one end, Aston Martin at the other end, with Bentley in the middle, keeping the two types of owner apart. smile
That's what I'm hoping, can't beat a good old opening dealer opening with free champagne ;-)...might lead to discounted servicing too!
From what I saw, Lambo's staying where it is, Bentley's being re-jigged around, and Aston is bolted to the other end...that way there'll be no arguing from those `particular` Lambo owners LOL

Interesting, will go and have a nose one day as I can drive that way to work by way of a change.

Only concern about servicing is will they have any AM experienced technicisns?

When I popped in, I met some of the Tech's, and there's one guy called Steve who's 14 years AM main dealer experienced, and a chap called Matt who's 10 years with Porsche GB...so there's quite a bit of experience there. I had the exact same concerns when I went in!

None as yet, Building work to be completed May 2015, but hoping to get approval from AM UK before that to start servicing/repair work (they reckon it'll be mid-Jan 2015 when the workshop re-furb is done)

I've subscribed to the HR Owen site to let me know when things happen.

There was a Steve who did some work on my car at AM Reading. Could be some of the Techs from Reading would move there, if they didn't want to switch to the Jag/LR workshop.

I use Shane Ashley-Carter at Ewelme near Benson for all my cars (DB7 Vantage, Bentley & Ferrari). They're 15 miles from the centre of Reading. Extremely knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Here's the link to their website. http://www.a-cl.co.uk/index.htm

I use Chicane Classics near Heckfield just the other side of the M4 from Reading. John Watson is ex R S Williams so knows his way around most Astons.
Does just what you ask him and will always tell you if he finds anything else that needs doing. He also does not change brake pads that are not worn out.

There's also Hoffmann's, an indie based in Henley http://www.hofmannsofhenley.co.uk/servicing/aston-...

Not used them so far, so can't vouch for the quality of their work. When I asked them regarding a job I thought would take around an hour to do, they quoted me 2 hours labour, at £95 + VAT per hour. They told me this was much less than a main dealer rate, I can't say I was totally convinced.

If you want your car cared for in the way that anyone would..... Trinity Engineering.... As far as I am concerned, the service, care and general feeling is second to none.... No one can replicate that....
