Not that I'd bring the old classic to this, the last track day I did at Monza cost me a new set of tyres and the brakes servicing, it's the sort of thing for which I'd use the TVR. However from my perspective the lack of enthusiasm may be due to it only being the 'International' circuit. I know Silverstone big it up but it looks a bit boring without the complex and the (old) main straight.

35 cars is quite a lot. The Welsh weekender was 20 including a porsche and Rob and Molly and I think rockingham was only about 20 cars. Maybe it needs to be joined up with AMOC as suggested or another marque like jaguar although that's a pretty quiet area on here.

It still doesn't explain why so few at the moment . Personally I'm not thinking about next year yet, others may be the same.

You may have a point re the International circuit, not that I agree. I would agree that the GP circuit would be preferable but unfortunately prohibitively expensive.

The new International circuit has the best corners off the GP track, Stowe, Club, Abbey etc around the Wing building/pits, and its a great layout. I think some might assume it is the old international circuit around the old pit complex.
Could it be the early date? I used to work there a lot, and as its the highest point West of the Ural mountains, it has its own seasons!

Bob....thoughts on opening it up to the guys who we know that are currently Astonless but would be good people to have along in other makes of car and respect the ethos of the day. (excluding the S3 Essex boy of course wavey)

Tony, I am only insured on the track with other Astons with Locktons Insurance. I guess my insurers trying to cover their exposure to risk.
I am fine if you open it up to others, no problem. I will need to opt out.
