Thanks Jon
I saw the AM website recently with new Q.
Personalisation is full of very interesting psychology - ownership, uniqueness, own identity, expression. It is within the DNA of every culture around the World. It is just realesed in different ways, with people being allowed to express with different levels of approval. The ability to "express" is one of our greatest attributes as humans.
Q is a great attempt to allow people to find uniqueness. In many ways it is very brave for a brand to allow looseness. Whether we like every car or not that is produced, I think it's cool and should be encouraged. I have loved personalising my car through the last year. Wowzers I really gone deep and meaningful

Well I think the impact of the dark side and becoming one of the non-exclusive masses could be having an effect, she did comment on the scale of the Porsche forum. It was just about straight line speed, less about brains... But I like the thought of applying the go faster stripes to their new porkie piglet in November
So how does this service work ? Or does an existing AM owner get access to it ?
I contacted 2 different dealers a couple of months ago, when I was playing with the idea of personalising my V12V instead of jumping away from the brand (and we know what I decided to do...). All I wanted at the time was to change the centre of my lightweight seats and the door inserts to a cream white and blue sticking. Seems fairly simple in the light of what is shown in this video.
Both dealers took several weeks to come back with a very disappointed "no cannot do" !!!! Puts this video into perspective. Or is it only to attract new customers and sale new cars....

could easily have been done at Works Service, they have a dedicated Trim Shop. My work is done there.I contacted 2 different dealers a couple of months ago, when I was playing with the idea of personalising my V12V instead of jumping away from the brand (and we know what I decided to do...). Stupidly slow to load and counter intuitive scrolling
Very "glossy" though
I hope this means Q will actually meet more of the requests they get
Many who have made requests have had them knocked back or they returned stupidly high prices for simple stuff
In fairly recent conversation with a 'Q' manager Henry Cozon, it appears over the last 12 months there has been a sea change in the companys approach to the parameters under which 'Q' was previously operating, broadening the scope of "personalisation" work on offer.Very "glossy" though
