"So, you would like the window to go up and down, Sir.
Well how does this sound?
3000 Swiss Francs.
£600."

Remember those days, when we just turned a little hand winder to open the windows?

Discovered by your great great uncle, Edwin Hall, in 1879 unless I'm very much mistaken wink

Looks like following Mikes advice and getting a reflash initially and taking it from there. Could ideally do with finding out if it is control box issue without launching 500 quid at it and finding that wasn't the problem. If only I could get hold of a drivers door module to test fit.

I doubt a reflash will cure anything you need a window regulator . I have never seen this problem caused by the module. It has lost its feed back from the sensor so only operates a small amount at a time. its a kind of limp home mode.
