Hi Bob and Paddy, thanks for the feedback guys smile

I agree with you both, the red does look nice on the tungsten. It has to right, it is a neutral colour. I think maybe my issue was that Project TeaSpn had always been: understated savile row meets fire breathing dragon. There has not been one drop of colour built into the new car until yesterday. Living with this project for the last 18 months, it felt very strange to see the red detail. I think the best plan is to live with it for a week or two...

Maybe it will be like a red handkerchief in the top pocket of a suit

What was that Paddy? The beetle one?

Just fitted Zagato wing badges today to compliment my Zagato interior, they have red text on white wings. I am living with them currently, can't decide if they suit tungsten grey
Looks good Will... I like the red against the tungsten.. Is that it now?? Finished? :-)

Hi Guys, thanks also for your thumbs up, yes red button hole - I like your thinking Paddy. I have the bottom button holes on my suit sleeves made with matching thread colour to the fun suit lining colour I choose, when fitting at my Hong Kong tailor.

Went out in TeaSpn yesterday, first run out in the daylight, front looked very different to me, but charismatic and quite a unique story for those of the AM family who know their marks. I made the decision to keep the old style red rear lights on TeaSpn because in tungsten I think the red lights bring the flowing lines of the rear of the car together, clear on tungsten IMHO is washed out and lost. So at the back, the red badge now has a fight on with centre brake light and two main red lights.... Hmmm. Could be a clear centre brake light....

Paul, Sir, I am detail man as you know (commonly known as OCD smile ), I guess TeaSpn will be done when the details is just right, it is more love than sense. how that lovely DBS of yours? Did you get 200 cells fitted?

Amazing matey... loving it.. I've had McG's do the glass buttons (well most of them.. all apart from the seat buttons.. and the fuel cap release) and 200 cell cats... PAH... Mike recommended ditching them.. so he de-cat'd and fitted the valve switch! SOUNDS FRICKIN AMAZING..
You'll have to have a go in it :-)

Really?? We need to talk.. I was told nearly 2 hours to strip the seat... leather off... didn't like the sound of that!... but second opinion was to either tap old one out with screwdriver..
Did you do yours??

Paul, I maybe wrong but don't think the new DB9.2 stone guards will fit a DBS. Were stone guards ever manufactured specifically for a DBS?
