Its lovely but how much is that low mileage costing? 10/15k.
I wouldnt touch a near 7 year old car with so few miles on it.

Mine will be too. Found a nice 11 plate in Cheltenham - just can't get my head round pricing them. Specs are all similar, yet prices really vary.
Seems that not much is selling so bid low. I have just seen Dick lovett knock £3k off there V12V to make it a bit more realistic.
biggrin frankie.

I dunno.

Assuming full price paid when new and now, you'd effectively be getting a car thats lower miles than most dealer demonstrators were 7 years ago, but now it costs £65k less.

At the same time, is a whopping 8 miles a month really enough to keep seals etc from perishing with lack of use?

[561 miles from new to last service is 8 miles a month. Interesting it has done nearly half its total miles since then]

Why would anyone, in their right mind, buy a DBS and not drive it?

AM wilmslow offered me 71k a few weeks back for my 08 manual with 15k miles if that helps, and Ive been chased by them and a couple of other dealers for it,so the market is strong for them at the moment.
Are you wanting to sell it?? If so what colour is it ??

Not at the moment, its meteorite (rare on a Dbs),that was the point dealers who know the car were ringing me .

I will sell it in the summer I think ,if I can find a suitable replacement (struggling so far)

2 months ago there was 1 listed on PH / Autotrader at under £80k.

Now there's a choice of 3, although I'm sure there was as many as 5 a couple of weeks ago. Seems like they dont hand around long when the price starts with a 7.

its astonishing value, really ,for 80k you cant even buy a new 911 ,a well specced m4 is going to be near 80k .

been looking at DBS Volante prices .. they do seem to vary quite a bit at AM Dealers.

Prices seem to depend on 2 things only, mileage and age.

I took the plunge after a year or so of searching for a 2+2 manual, which meant waiting for a MY2010 onwards. I think I'm right in saying there were no mechanical differences. The main differences being diamond turned alloys (much nicer IMHO) B+O sound system (not sure it sounds any better as I'd rather listen to that V12, but the pop up speakers look cool) and the option of 2+2 and auto. I was invited to a test drive a V12 vantage S and enquired about trade in value and a figure of around 90k was mentioned. That was what I paid over a year ago. Flappy paddles not my thing so I'm sticking with the DBS. I don't think these will appreciate anytime soon and will quite possibly lose some in the near term but given their relatively small production numbers and the fact it's Aston's last V12 manual, I would, maybe optimistically, think that any depreciation to be fairly small. Look at original Vanquish prices and I know which car I'd put my money on.

The new alloys are certainly nicer - thats a nice car you got yourself there.

People always use this one declaring almost that a ridiculously low mileage car with be troublesome.

I disagree.....I have/had many super low mileage cars and they're not an issue
