Northernmedia, JC is a busy man but there will be chance to speak at Cadwell.

To confirm: As at Rockingham & Snetterton, our 2 previous Track Days, Nick Rice (MSV) has kindly agreed to supply Helmets and bacon rolls FOC. Refreshments will be available throughout the day from the Clubhouse. thumbup
Note: You may need to check your insurance covers you for Track Days.

Full house Bob!

Well done on another top effort with the organisation, wish I could have been there again but circumstances conspired against me sadly. Looking forward to the pictures and video already thumbup.
Jeff thank you. If I have anything to do with it there will be another Track Day for us in September. I will be looking for another new circuit. The two main problems are db levels (105db we need) and circuit hire costs. Really looking forward to Cadwell, a very different circuit in many ways by all accounts. driving

Oddly enough I am just getting quotes for this now. Does anyone have any recommendations?
A Locktons policy will cover you for Track Days. I switched from Admiral for that reason. Before switching I did try to arrange for a one day only Track Day cover with a specialist company but the premiums were prohibitive.

Looking forward to Cadwell Park ?

Our new fellow forum enthusiast cwin, has a cracking photograph on his profile page.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...

Ask your photographers to go to that location (it is near the paddock), and perhaps a prize can be offered for the best airborne Aston Martin shot.

Oh, and Craig mentioned a lap time of 1m 28s, but don't attempt to beat that.

Enjoy your day.

Jon.
A dry track and you never know, 1m 28s is fast but not unbeatable,,,,we have some pretty hot owners on the entrants list. yes

Fantastic photo by the way!

I have a go-pro mount permanently 'stuck' to my windscreen just below the rear view mirror, very discreet indeed, used it at Snetterton:

Thanks for the replies guys.
It was just a question of when I buy the camera. Will go for it and see what I can get away with...and will source the ties from somewhere.

Nice to see your action shots again Bob! smile
Thanks Mike,,,makes me wish I'd recorded Rockingham. Really looking forward to Cadwell, a completely different circuit,,,all we need is the weather to be kind to us "again".

Assuming we do not have a last minute rush for the now 2 vacant (paid for) slots, would we mind if dynosoar Andy brought along his AC Cobra 289 (rep)?

Andrew, how does this sound; If we can all be there by 09:00, briefing at 09:30 we should be on track by 10:00.

George, some bad luck there,,,hope you are soon back up and running.

PS: I'll give dynosoar the thumbs up then.

A reminder for Monday; Please ensure anyone driving must bring their drivers licence and sign on as a driver (not just the owner of the entered car). Also owners, please bring a tenner for the photographer. Final reminder on insurance, please be sure you have cover,,,,we are all respectful and behave out there, but!

Looks like we might have a shower this time out, it'll not spoil the fun just make it that bit more of an experience. driving

Who are the organisers (insurance companies seem to need to know this)
MSV operate the circuit. The Track Day itself is a private event being run by the Circuit operators and supervised by S & A grade ARDS instructors.
